Unimore warmly welcomes all incoming international students, offering support with administrative tasks and any other aspect of life in Italy. Alongside the International Welcome Desk (IWD), the university has appointed a Welcome Tutorial Desk (WTD).
The IWD supports with:
- Obtaining your Italian Tax Code (Codice Fiscale)
- Applying for or renewing your Permit of Stay
- Finding accommodation
- Opening a bank account
- Navigating bureaucratic processes and understanding Unimore’s academic offerings
The WTD is the local point of reference at the department to provide efficient support and comprehensive assistance, in collaboration with the Department and the IWD. The WTD creates opportunities to meet, helps international students with their experience in Italy, and provides information and contacts to help establish a network in which the international student feels integrated.
