Access to the degree course in INFORMATICS

The degree course in  Computer Science  has  limited access.

Access to the degree course in Computer Science is defined by an annual announcement which describes in detail the access methods and related deadlines. Please read carefully the entire Notice normally published towards the end of March on the page  https://www.unimore.it/bandi/StuLau-Lau.html

To access the degree course in INFORMATION IT is necessary to take the TOLC-I online test , organized and managed by CISIA (Interuniversity Consortium for Integrated Systems for Access).

  • The  TOLC-I  is made up of 50 questions divided into 3 sections (Mathematics, Logic, Science and Verbal Comprehension), integrated by a section in English.
For admission to the IT degree course, the score obtained by answering the questions in Mathematics (20 questions), Logic (10 questions), Verbal Comprehension (10 questions) will be taken into consideration.
  • To participate in the TOLC-I it is necessary to access the CISIA website   ( http://www.cisiaonline.it/ ), select the TOLC-I and proceed with registration. Registration and payment of the CISIA contribution (30.00 euros) must be made at least 6 days before the date of the test.
  • The calendar of dates on which it is possible to take the TOLC-I at the Department of Physical, Computer and Mathematical Sciences is published in the call for admission to the course. Alternatively, it is possible to take the TOLC-I at any other CISIA accredited university or to have already taken it in a previous session.
  • Students enrolled in the Computer Science degree course who have obtained a score lower than 10/20 in the Mathematics section have been assigned an  OFA additional learning requirement which they must complete within the first year of the course (September) in order to enroll in the second year. The OFA is considered passed if a score of at least 10 is obtained in the OFA FIM test.
