The Additional Educational Obligation (OFA) is a debt that is given to the student who:

  • acquired a score <10 in the mathematics section of the TOLC-I (Mandatory for students enrolled in the three-year degree course in Computer Science)
  • acquired a score <10 in the OFA-FIM initial preparation verification test
  • has never taken a TOLC-I or an OFA-FIM test

To pay off the OFA debt, the student must repeat/take the OFA FIM Test organized by the Department and scheduled in 4 different periods of the year: December, January, February and May, or repeat only the mathematics section of the TOLC-I.

To prepare for the test, we recommend referring to the  mathematics course .

Passing the OFA is not binding for enrollment but must be passed within the first year of the course. In case of failure to pass the OFA at the end of the first year, the student cannot enroll in the second year and will be enrolled as a repeater in the first year.

The OFA TEST can be taken multiple times, with no limit on the number of attempts.

Passing the OFA is a prerequisite for enrolling in the exam for some first-year courses of the Computer Science Degree Course.
