Tutoring and exercise activities

Contenuto

Students enrolled in the study course of the Department of Physics, Informatics and Mathematics can contact the educational coordinator both for all information from a logistical-organizational point of view, for example, lesson times, classroom locations, and for orientation on the study plans, on particular training offers, on educational services and related access, on tutoring services and ways to use them.

The coordinators of the individual study courses organise, typically in the month of April/May, orientation meetings for the choice of optional exams and orientation meetings for the choice of the master's degree, in which the research activities of the Department are also presented, to guide students in choosing optional exams and thesis topic.

For students enrolled in the courses of study, ongoing tutoring activities are carried out, divided into specific support activities aimed at freshmen to reduce the effects of the impact of entry and dropouts between the first and second year, and additional exercise activities for the most relevant physics courses of the following years. The exercises are carried out either by senior students of the master's degree or by research doctorates and are in addition to the exercises and tutoring carried out in person by the course teacher.

For additional information, contact the FIM Representative for Tutoring Federica Mandreoli, and Michela Vincenzi for the administrative areas for tutoring activities.

For information about the delegate for tutoring activities in each course, please refer to the webpage of the course.
