The TolC-I is required for admission to the three-year degree course in Computer Science and is also a way to complete the initial assessment test for access to the degree courses in Mathematics and Physics.

The TOLC-I is a computerized test managed and organized by the CISIA Interuniversity Consortium and can be taken from your own home.

The TOLC-I consists of 50 questions divided into 4 sections: 20 Mathematics questions in 50 minutes, 10 Logic questions in 20 minutes, 10 Science questions in 20 minutes, 10 Verbal Comprehension questions in 20 minutes.

The result of each TOLC-I is determined by the number of correct, incorrect and unanswered questions which determine an absolute score, deriving from 1 point for each correct answer, 0 points for each unanswered question and a penalty of 0.25 points for each incorrect answer.

Registration is done through the website  www.cisiaonline.it where you can find all the information on the organization of the test and also training tests.

The calendar of dates on which it is possible to take the TOLC-I at the Department of Physical, Computer and Mathematical Sciences is published in the call for admission to the Computer Science course or on the Cisia website .

Alternatively, it is possible to take the TOLC-I at any CISIA accredited university.

For admission to the degree course in COMPUTER SCIENCE,  the score obtained by answering the questions in Mathematics (20 questions), Logic (10 questions), Verbal Comprehension (10 questions) will be taken into consideration.

To pass the Additional Learning Requirement (OFA),  a score of at least 10 in the Mathematics section is required.
