The Erasmus+ Program allows students or recent graduates to carry out an internship at foreign institutions of the countries participating in the Programme. These institutions can be public (for example universities, research centres, laboratories, etc...), or private companies, training and research centres.

The duration of the internship must be between 2 and 12 months (Long Mobility); for PhD students and recent graduates a duration between 5 and 30 days is possible (Short Mobility).

The same student may receive more than one grant for each study cycle up to 12 months of study or internship abroad.

Students enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degree programmes offered by the Department of Physics, Informatics and Mathematics can be admitted to the program. Recent graduates are eligible as long as they apply before obtaining their degree.

Erasmus+ for Traineeship does not include pre-existing agreements (unlike Erasmus+ for Study). Therefore the candidate must independently find the institution where to carry out the internship. In this regard, it is possible to consult the University noticeboard or the teachers.

Before the departure, in agreement with the Erasmus contact person, a Learning Agreement is prepared which contains the data of the host institution, the details of the internship, and indications of the ECTS which can be recognized at the end of the activity.
