The CdLM in Computer Science includes a set of compulsory courses that allow you to deepen your skills in Embedded Systems, Scalable Data Science, Software and Information Security and Software Design and Development, taking care of both the theoretical and application aspects.
Over the two-year period, topics relating to:
- High performance computing
- Deep learning, Fundamentals and applications of machine learning
- Complex Systems, Game Theory
- Big Data analytics
- Cloud and Edge Computing
- Secure Programming
- Cryptography
- AI-assisted computer graphics
- Privacy and data protection, new technology law
There is no lack of transversal contents, such as software engineering and mobile computing, and the possibility of addressing specific topics, such as the Internet of Things, Kernel Hacking and Quantum Information processing. The number of compulsory courses is limited, thus allowing the student considerable flexibility of choice within the tables, having the tracks proposed by the teaching staff as a useful guide. Finally, the activities related to the final internship and the writing of the degree thesis offer numerous opportunities to independently develop one's skills and inclinations.
