The HackinMORE group aims to help interested students participate in Hackathon-style events, Capture the Flag, and other projects of shared interest.
Mode
To be part of the HackinMORE group you need:
- be students regularly enrolled in the Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science at UNIMORE
- be interested in being contacted if opportunities arise to participate in hackathons and programming competitions, data analysis, IoT systems, cybersecurity Capture of Flags, and other similar activities.
Participation in the group does not bind the student in any way: from time to time, in the event of a possible participation in an event, all students belonging to the HackinMORE group will be contacted, also indicating the reference teacher for that particular event. Interested students can express their interest by writing directly to the reference teacher, who depending on the nature of the project, event or competition, will communicate how the work will be organized.
The group's organization also takes on a bidirectional character, providing enrolled students with the tools to report events of interest, to find support from teachers and to identify other students potentially interested in participating.
It is also planned to offer seminars and tutorials on specific topics, which will still be open to all course members, but will focus on the specifics of possible challenges.
Possible areas of interest include:
- IoT
- Return Networking
- Big Data Management e Analytics
- Security e Privacy
- Algorithms
- Embedded Platforms
- High Performance Computing
- Complex systems
