The University has approved the Student Regulations which came into force on 01/03/2023. This Regulation is very detailed and reports, among other things, both the rights and duties of students.
In particular, articles n.44 Rules of Discipline and n.45 Verification of disciplinary offence, govern the consequences of behavior which in the eyes of a student may not be perceived as serious, i.e. the act of copying and/or doing copy a written assignment/a test carried out in the laboratory which constitutes an exam.
During the exam, it is not possible to consult notes or other materials (unless otherwise indicated by the teacher), nor is it possible to communicate; computers, tablets and cell phones must be left in bags and/or jackets, away from oneself. Their use, as well as the consultation of notes or other materials and communication with other students during the exam entails the immediate withdrawal of the assignment and its cancellation.
This offense also entails disciplinary sanctions such as, for example, exclusion from one or more exams or other forms of performance verification for a period not exceeding six months up to temporary suspension from the University with consequent loss of exam sessions.
Teachers are required to report any incorrect behavior to the teaching secretariat and to the director who will proceed centrally with the communication to the Rector, to start the procedure.
