The fifth edition of the conference "Optimization Techniques for Inverse Problems ", an event of international importance dedicated to numerical optimization techniques applied to inverse problems , will be held in Modena from 4 to 6 September at the San Geminiano Complex. The workshop, organized by the Numerical Analysis research group of the Department of Physical, Computer and Mathematical Sciences of Unimore with the support of the Marco Biagi Foundation , is aimed at students, PhD students, researchers and young professors and will see the participation of international experts in this field.
The program includes a limited number of extended talks, followed by open discussions, which will provide the opportunity to exchange ideas on topics ranging from theory to practical applications, with a particular focus on inverse problems such as image processing, compressive sensing and machine learning.
Numerical optimization plays a crucial role in the development of modern artificial intelligence techniques , facilitating the solution of complex inverse problems that arise in many scientific and technological fields.
"This conference, since its first edition, represents a unique opportunity to delve into the crucial importance of numerical optimization techniques in inverse problems, especially in the context of artificial intelligence. By bringing together internationally renowned experts, we aim to stimulate the sharing of innovative ideas and solutions that can transform the way we address today's mathematical and computational challenges " – comments the event coordinator Prof. Marco Prato.
